The rafting was a blast, but definitely an interesting experience. They gave you life vest, and helmets, but if you needed them to save your life, I don't think it would do a thing. It was a river, but the rafting area was damned-off, so they controlled how much water went down. You would flow into "shoots" that were narrow and rough, then you would enter a calm area again. Each raft had 2 people in it. The water was only about 3 feet deep, so it wasn't bad, but it was really rough and rocky in certain areas. Really dangerous!! You had to hold on to the raft for dear life!! Chico people, I always thought floating was dangerous, this doesn't even compare, this is worse! |
